Cathy Fawcett is a founder and co-managing partner of Fawcett Cutler with 20 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation, and administrative law.

Her litigation practice is broad, with substantial experience in health law, representing physicians, nurses, and other health professionals through complex litigation, mediation, negotiations with regulators, advocacy in court or at discipline committee hearings.

Cathy provides strategic advice to all clients.  She is a passionate lawyer who will dive into complex issues and surface with creative solutions that are in her clients’ best interests.

A life-long resident of the Saint John area, Cathy earned her BBA at the University of New Brunswick (Saint John) and was awarded the Beaverbrook Scholarship in Law to attend the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in Fredericton.

Cathy is active in the community, serving on many Boards and Committees, and devotes many hours every year to the profession, teaching law students, lecturing at CLEs and serving the New Brunswick Law Society in several capacities.
